The Quiet Clam is a story about a very shy and lonely clam. The quiet clam is seeking friendship but she is too afraid to use her voice to speak. In the story, the clam is surprised to learn what happens when she finally does use her voice. From the story children can discover that deep inside of all of us we have unique gifts that we can offer to others. We just need to find the opportunity and the courage to express our individual gifts.
